Jessica + Jeff’s Wedding at Houston Petroleum Club

This is the second part/reception to Jessica & Jeff’s fabulous Petroleum Club wedding in downtown Houston. They had so many beautiful details.  Jessica’s mom was the creative force behind all the fab details and also did Jessica’s hair.  Awesome job!!!   Guests enjoyed an incredible view of the city.  Thanks to Jessica’s music teacher who played the piano and DJ for the night, family and friends danced the night away.  Jessica’s brother sang a song for her father daughter dance that was so touching.   I had such a great time capturing the night and everyone having such a fun time!  Thanks again to the Brinz family for selecting me to be a part of your special day!  All the best~Sunshine!

      Lauren’s Bat-Mitzvah Portrait Session

I’m finally getting caught up and getting a chance to post more these days.  I absolutely love the photos from Lauren’s session.  Lauren and her mom both wanted to do something fun, colorful and urban.  I was so happy to finally get to go to a few locations I had been scoping out for a while.  Lauren was awesome!  She had a fun attitude and a little bit of sass, which always makes for good photos.  It doesn’t hurt that she is one gorgeous young lady too!

      Jenn + Mike Galveston E-Session

J+M are easy-going, fun-loving, beach-lovers and high-school sweethearts.  I met them in Galveston recently for a fun day at the beach.  They were one of the lucky couples who received The Knot Deal of the Day.  The weather was absolutely perfect and J+M are one of those picture perfect couples.  So needless to say they made my job really easy, besides getting the wind to cooperate with us.  They are planning to tie the knot next year in Galveston.  They were such a fun couple to work with.  Good luck with all your planning!

Brooke + Spencer’s South Shore Harbor Wedding

Brooke and Spencer tied the knot this past May at the beautiful South Shore Harbor Country Club.  These photos are from their wedding album layout.  They had a picture perfect ceremony outside by the golf course under a big Oak tree and water.  Right before the ceremony dark clouds were looming over us and looked like it was going to rain, but the rain never came and the wedding went on.  The bright lime green and fushia colors of the flowers and dresses really popped against the dark gray sky.  The reception was filled with lots of dancing and  good times.  All the best to the sweet and beautiful couple.

Kim + Ryan’s Mad Men Engagement Session

I love it when couples want to get creative and do something a little different.  Kim and Ryan love the show Mad Men and wanted their engagement photos to have a vintage feel.  We started off by downtown and then headed to one of the oldest bars in Houston to have a couple martinis and have a little fun.  Im off to shoot Kim’s bridals today.  I know we will be getting some more really cool shots today.  Their wedding is next month, so check back for more with Kim and Ryan.
