Lauren + Clint Wedding-Four Season Hotel Houston

Lauren and Clint had a beautiful wedding this past July at the Four Seasons Hotel in downtown Houston.  They are such sweet couple.  You could feel the love in the air.  Kristin Cogan from Keely-Thorne Events did a fabulous job coordinating the day.  Divisi Strings played during the ceremony and Rabbi Dan Gordon blessed their marriage.  Guests were led into the ballroom for a night of dancing with the always fun band Klockwork.  They always get people onto the floor and even up on the stage.  It was such fun wedding!  I wish you two the very best!

      I’m Married Now!

Jeff and I tied the knot at The Alden Hotel in downtown Houston last month.  What an awesome time I had being a bride. It was fun being in front of the camera, but I’m definitely more comfortable on the other side of the camera.  Since I have the opportunity to be a part of so many special events, I definitely knew the way I wanted my wedding to look.  Everything turned out so beautiful, just the way I imagined it would.  I had a team of my favorite photographers and vendors to help me put the day together.  These images were taken by my lovely and amazing assistant Simone Leitch.  She has been working with me for the past year and is an amazing photographer.  I have more photos to come from the other photographers that helped capture my day. Thank you so much to everyone who helped me put together my amazing day.

The Knot Best of Weddings 2011 Pick!!!

I’m so happy to announce that Sunshine Winters Photography has been rated by local brides and voted The Knot Best of Weddings 2011 Pick”!  This is such a special honor.  This past year has been an amazing year!  I’ve been blessed to be a part of so many special occasions.  I’m working on getting together a slideshow with the Best of 2010.  There were so many great photos from this past year, can’t wait to share them with you.

      Jessica + Edwin Wedding

Jessica and Edwin are such a sweet and cute couple.  They are high school sweethearts.   Jessica had quite a challenge planning her wedding.  Edwin has been living abroad for some time now.  He has been serving our country and was given a small window of opportunity to come home and get married. It was a pleasure having the opportunity to capture their big day with their closest friends and family.  Jessica looked so gorgeous and is an absolute sweetheart.  Edwin is strong and gentle and is totally committed to her, which I adore.   They are now living out of the country together as husband and wife.  I wish you both the very best!

      Whitney + Anand Wedding-Chapelwood Methodist/Houston Country Club

Whitney and Anand’s wedding was absolutely fabulous!  They tied the knot at the Chapelwood United Methodist church and held their reception at beautiful Houston Country Club.  They had vintage yet modern feel to their big day.  The bride wore a gorgeous gown from Case de Novia and wore her mother’s shoes and garter.  She also adorned a gold leaf in her hair which was duplicated in cake design.  They had a Tassa band to entertain the guests in honor of Anand’s heritage.  They kept the  party going all night. The party was on fire….literally!  LOL. Thanks so much to Kristin at Keely Thorne Events for putting together a beautiful wedding.   All the best to Whitney and Anand!  Thanks for letting me capture your special day!
