Nikki & Ernie Engagement Session-League City

I had a blast shooting their engagement session.  I love going to new spots.  I met Nikki and Ernie in League City. They wanted to shoot at Helen’s Garden near by thier wedding site, the Butler’s Courtyard.  N+E are a super sweet and easy going couple who made my job a breeze.  They were striking poses left and right and working all of their moves.  I loved it!  They love spending time outdoors, especially hanging out with their lovable furbaby Piper (their French Bulldog).  They also love going to the movies, so I thought the old town in LC would be another great spot for their photos.  It has such a cinematic feel with the old looking store front buildings and the old rail-car.  I love the juxtaposition of the boys riding through my shot.  I can’t wait to shoot their wedding!

      Jennifer & Chad-Galveston Engagement Session

I’m so happy to finally share Jennifer and Chad’s engagement photos!  They are so cute together and you can tell they are totally in love.  They are getting married this April at the Alden Hotel (same location I tied the knot :).  They told me they love the beach and they wanted to do a beach session.  The weather was perfect and we had so much fun strolling along the beach and enjoying a frozen cocktail after our session.  I can’t wait for their big day!

      Chelsea and Matthew-Houston Engagements

Congrats to Chelsea and Matthew!   They just tied the knot right before the holidays.  These two are sooo cute together.  They had been dating for five years until he popped the big question.   They initially met when they were both working at Hasta La Pasta in Katy.  It was the spot they first laid eyes on one another and was the location for their rehearsal dinner.

When we met for their consultation, Matthew told me that he is a videographer.  So he had a vision for what he wanted and we discussed some ideas and they told me they enjoyed the outdoors and playing chess.  So, I knew the perfect spot!  We walked around the location getting some outdoorsy shots and then they pulled out these old looking letters.  They told me that soon after they started dating Chelsea moved to Canada.  So, Mathew….the hopeless romantic, started sending emails non-stop and on special occasions would write Chelsea letters and seal them with a claddagh seal.  It was the same seal they used for their invitations and programs.  Check back to see more from their big day

      Abey & Jared’s Bar-Mitzvah Portraits Houston

Last month on a perfect December day I got to photograph Abey and Jared before their big day.  Abey’s dad let the guys use his fine red Ferrari for the photos.  That car is soooo cool!  A guys perfect accessory.  Their parents are hosting a double-the -fun sports car party for them later this month.  My husband is jealous…he wished he had a theme like that for his bar-mitzvah.  We took advantage of the beautiful fall leaves and got a few shots with Abey’s mom and Jared’s sister Alex.  I shot Alex’s Bat-Mitzvah a couple of years ago.  It’s so nice to get to be a part of another family celebration….a double the fun one too!  Check back for more pics from their ceremonies and party.

      Sweet Sweatt Baby!!!

I’m finally getting a chance to get caught up on my blogs…well that is the goal anyways for the New Year!  I’ve been dying to show this lil’ guy off.  He is soooooo freakin’ cute!  I love his lil’ face!  I’ve had the pleasure of capturing this awesome lil’ guy grow.  He started to get to know me and hear me click away when he was in his momma’s belly, then just a few days old and then when he was 3 months.  It was so much fun trying to get this lil’ ones attention.  He was so mesmerized by everything.   How could you not fall in love with those big baby blues!  I can see that his mom and dad do just that.  He is the first baby….so he is feeling all the love (as he should).  His mom and I are in the process of finalizing her book of all the images we have captured since the beginning.  Be sure to check back for that.
